About Jewel Green III
For years, I have ministered to the spiritual needs of those in my community. Ministering the Word of God wherever the Spirit of God guides me. Since the pandemic, I have not been able to get out in the community as much but during the downtime, God has allowed me to focus my energy to write and publish a book of poems. Moreover, I have also started a website and blog. I have so much to say and poems give me the outlet I need. This platform also allows me to talk on so many subjects that I am passionate about, in so many areas of this life. I love writing poems and short stories and my blog jewelgreen3 The Quiet Poet gives me the platform to write as God lays topics and subjects on my heart. I write every day, and every day God speaks to me in a different way.
A little about my personal life...I am a born-again believer in Jesus Christ. I'm happily married to my beautiful wife Irene.
We have three children, all grown up. Praise God! Yes, we are empty-nesters, whatever that means. I enjoy most all competitive sports, football, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, golf, boxing, and MMA. Pretty much if it is competitive I probably enjoy it. I love reading the Bible, I am not a scholar but I enjoy reading the Bible. I am a reserved person, one may even say quietly. I am not shy but I speak when I need to and I won't waste words. I want to encourage you to explore the blog, be inspired, be provoked, be moved to become better. For that's what life is about, every day becoming a little bit better.
